Staging & Scenic Build for Monday.com’s Elevate 2025 at Brooklyn Navy Yard

For Monday.com’s Elevate 2025 conference, Event Fab was brought in to fabricate and execute three custom stages — including an 80′ wide main stage with a massive scenic backdrop and LED-trimmed DSMs. Hosted at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, this event required precision engineering, seamless fabrication, and efficient installation to bring the client’s vision and drawings to life.

We partnered directly with Monday.com’s production team, taking their concepts and turning them into fully built, installed, and show-ready scenic environments. With tight timelines, complex rigging requirements, and large-scale scenic elements, this project is a perfect example of how Event Fab supports agencies, brands, and production teams with high-quality execution across CT, NY, MA, and RI.

The Vision for Elevate 2025

Elevate 2025 was Monday.com’s major annual conference — designed to inspire, educate, and energize attendees with keynote presentations, breakout sessions, and high-impact visual storytelling. Their internal team came to us with detailed drawings and conceptual designs for three stages of varying sizes, each supporting different parts of the show.

Our role was to bring their vision to life through precise fabrication, structural planning, LED integration, and full-scale scenic installation. The biggest challenge was the primary keynote stage: an 80′ long platform paired with a 36′ wide by 16′ tall scenic backdrop featuring illuminated edge accents and a massive visual presence.

The event took place inside Brooklyn Navy Yard — a raw, industrial venue with an enormous footprint. This required strategic planning for rigging, transport, stage layout, LED distribution, and installation timing. Working directly from Monday.com’s specifications, our job was to ensure every piece matched their drawings perfectly and was delivered flawlessly on-site.

Behind the Build

This project began with a deep dive into Monday.com’s drawings and technical plans. Because the scenic pieces were large, heavy, and visually critical to the show, our team spent significant time mapping out connection points, rigging requirements, LED integration, and transport logistics. We created detailed build schedules and pre-assembled components in our shop to ensure a smooth and predictable on-site experience. Coordination with the venue and Monday.com’s production crew was essential to aligning schedules, power needs, and rigging access.

Installation at Brooklyn Navy Yard required a full day, with our team working methodically to assemble the massive scenic wall, run power and LED data lines, align the marley stage tops, and integrate the LED-trimmed DSMs. The main backdrop alone spanned 36 feet in width and 16 feet in height, requiring careful hoisting, secure rigging, and precise LED mapping. Once in place, the scenic environment created a striking focal point — an impressive visual anchor for Elevate 2025’s keynote moments.

Planning & Pre-Production

Every detail of this project began with the drawings provided by the Monday.com production team. We reviewed elevations, weight loads, scenic dimensions, LED placement, and rigging notes, ensuring all pieces could be safely built and installed inside the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Our internal team created a build schedule for each stage component, checked all dimensions twice, and pre-tested lighting and LED trim before load-out.

Transporting oversized scenic pieces into the venue required coordination with their logistics team to ensure dock access, lift equipment, and power availability. Once on site, our team followed a structured installation timeline — assembling platforms, aligning edges, installing marley, securing scenic components, running LED control lines, and testing each element before handoff.

The planning process resulted in a smooth install and a final product that met the exact creative and technical expectations of the client.
