Sneaker-Themed Event at Cipriani Wall Street with Chandelier Events

Event Fab partnered with Geo Events and Amy from Chandelier Events to produce a high-impact, sneaker-inspired celebration at the iconic Cipriani Wall Street. This event blended luxury, culture, and streetwear energy, anchored by custom scenic builds, immersive entry moments, branded décor, and bold, fashion-driven design.

From a Kith-inspired sneaker tunnel to oversized Nike-style shoe boxes, custom bars, a vinyl-wrapped dance floor, and a sleek stage setup — every element was crafted to elevate the theme while enhancing guest engagement. This project highlights our ability to bring high-concept, highly branded experiences to life for events across NYC, CT, MA, and RI.

A Streetwear-Inspired Vision with Luxury Execution

The creative direction for this event centered around the world of sneakers — culture, hype, exclusivity, and bold design. Working with Amy from Chandelier Events, our task was to build a series of custom scenic elements that felt true to high-end streetwear culture while seamlessly fitting into the grandeur of Cipriani Wall Street.

The star of the experience was a custom Kith-inspired sneaker tunnel, engineered to fit perfectly inside the venue’s entrance. With over 100 real sneakers displayed, integrated LED lighting, and an on-site assembly plan, this piece delivered a jaw-dropping arrival moment.

The theme continued throughout the space with Nike-inspired shoe box builds — including a functional oversized shoe box with a pull-out drawer designed as the event’s signing board. Additional scenic elements, custom lounge pieces, and branded enhancements tied the concept together, ensuring a cohesive, immersive celebration from the moment guests walked in.

Behind the Build

This project required engineering scenic pieces that were both visually striking and logistically feasible within Cipriani Wall Street’s architectural constraints. Our team developed a modular installation plan for the sneaker tunnel, ensuring each section could be transported into the venue, assembled on-site, and precisely aligned with the building’s iconic entryway. Every display cubby, shelf, and LED feature was designed to support real sneakers while maintaining a polished, high-end finish.

The oversized shoe boxes, bar, stage, and lounge elements were fabricated to match the event’s streetwear-inspired aesthetic while still offering durability and clean lines. Installation required tight coordination with Chandelier Events and the venue to ensure everything came together seamlessly. Once complete, the space felt fully transformed — bold, immersive, and packed with Instagram-worthy moments.

Planning & Pre-Production

Our planning began with detailed renderings and dimensional studies to ensure that each scenic piece — especially the sneaker tunnel — fit perfectly into Cipriani’s entry architecture. We reviewed sneaker counts, lighting placement, cubby spacing, and assembly sequences to give Amy and her team a clear picture of the final installation.

Pre-production involved sneaker layout mapping, scenic finishing, assembling the functional shoe box drawer system, designing the bar and stage elements, and producing all vinyl graphics for the dance floor. On event day, our team executed an efficient install that transformed the space into a sleek, high-energy sneaker experience.
