Designed for a milestone birthday with personality, the evening combined high-end finishes, custom branding, immersive photo moments, and refined lounge environments.

Our team provided a full visual transformation using our new black luxury furniture collection, custom graphics, themed branding, and a 3D photobooth experience — creating an atmosphere that was polished, confident, and unapologetically fun.

A Milestone Celebration with Personality

This 40th birthday event was designed to celebrate success, confidence, and humor — with a theme that played on the lighthearted phrase “Work Hard. Play Hard. Stay Hard.” The goal was to strike the perfect balance between upscale elegance and tongue-in-cheek fun, without crossing into anything over-the-top.

Hosted at the iconic Garden City Hotel, the event required a sophisticated approach to theming. Event Fab was brought in to execute custom branding, premium furniture layouts, graphics, and interactive photo experiences that felt intentional, elevated, and guest-friendly.

The final environment delivered a luxury lounge vibe layered with clever messaging and immersive moments — giving guests an experience that felt both high-end and unforgettable.

Behind the Build

This event required a careful design balance. Our team began by mapping out lounge zones that would showcase our new black luxury furniture while maintaining open sightlines and a natural flow throughout The Garden City Hotel’s ballroom. From there, we developed branded graphic elements and signage that delivered the theme with subtlety and wit rather than excess.

Installation focused on precision and polish. Furniture was staged intentionally to create intimate seating clusters, the 3D photobooth was positioned for maximum engagement, and branding elements were installed to feel cohesive with the venue’s classic architecture. The result was a seamless transformation that felt upscale, confident, and effortlessly fun.

Planning & Pre-Production

Planning for this event included venue walkthroughs, furniture layout design, branding placement strategy, and coordination for the 3D photobooth experience. Our team worked to ensure that all elements complemented the Garden City Hotel’s elegant interiors while supporting the event’s modern tone.

Pre-production involved preparing custom graphics, staging furniture selections, testing photobooth functionality, and organizing an efficient install timeline. On event day, our team executed a smooth setup that delivered a fully realized environment ready for celebration.
